It’s not often that an artist can make a living from the sales of his artwork—let alone continue that trend for several decades. That fact was not at all lost on David, who frequently mentioned how lucky and grateful he felt as an artist to be able to do what he loved most and have an audience respond to it! He was constantly blown away by collectors and admirers like yourselves who appreciated and purchased his artwork. Especially coming from such humble beginnings as David did, he never imagined that he could have opportunities like these. In an article about his process, David is quoted saying, “Painting for me is the last frontier, and I plan to take it as far as I can.” He certainly did, and we’re very proud to release two more examples of that!

"Angel At My Feet"

The first new offering is titled, “Angel At My Feet,” and features a cowgirl standing tall with her yellow slicker flying behind her. She’s gazing down at the cowboy who casually, yet protectively, is resting at her feet. It captures a sweet, intimate moment with a nice contrast of the cowgirl seemingly having the upper hand, but she has the safety of her cowboy if she ever needs it. Isn’t that how we think of guardian angels?

"You're Safe With Me"

The second new release is, “You’re Safe With Me.” This image is unique in that it uses all three types of metallic leafing David is known for. Look how beautifully they all balance and compliment each other, framing the two figures at the center.
