New Releases for Valentine's Day

2/8/2023

Greetings Western Art Fans.

Even though we’re still in the midst of winter, we hope this message brings some warmth and brightness to your week. It’s almost Valentine’s Day and to celebrate, we’re releasing two new offerings for our selection of DeVary reproductions, both featuring the Valentine’s palette of red!

"Guardian Angel: Flowered Glove"

“Flowered Glove" is an addition to the Guardian Angel series, a group of paintings featuring two figures oftentimes connected in a way that suggests protection, care, and love. The hook David had for this series is that you can’t quite tell who is protecting whom, which one is the angel? The colors in this piece are bold and striking, the bright red barn wall in the background making everything pop. At the same time, there’s a casualness in our cowboy and girl that make this piece approachable and relatable—something David was a master at. We hope you are drawn to this new painting as much as we are!

"Folks Who Have No Vices Have Very Few Virtues"

Our second new release is painted with so much movement, you can almost feel the coat swinging around our cowgirl. This painting is titled “Folks Who Have No Vices Have Very Few Virtues,” invoking that independent spirit David (and so much of his artwork) held! This piece balances three main colors, black, red, and yellow, and they play off each other in a dramatic way to highlight our cowgirl and make for a dynamic portrait.

As a Valentine’s special, we’re offering 14% off these two new works from now until the end of February! Our prints are available in multiple sizes (including custom sizes) and we offer printing on both paper and canvas so that you have plenty of options for your walls and aesthetic. Please see www.daviddevarystudio.com for more details and contact information.

Happy Valentine's Day and we hope you have a beautiful and fun weekend,

Lee DeVary
